Ron founded the firm on October 1, 1976.  Ron's professional background included 6 years with a large regional firm and an international accounting firm.  Ron's philosophy is The Golden Rule; we want to do for our clients what we would want them to do for us in providing services.  Ron's client base has a concentration in manufacturing and service areas.  He has a high concentration of machine shops, which ties back to his four years of machine shop experience at Timken Roller Bearing Company. Ron is very active in the Akron Community and is a member of the Ohio Society of CPA's and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. You may email Ron at Ronmidcap@aol.com.

Mark graduated from Manchester High School in 1981 and Mount Union College in 1985. After working for a regional firm for five years, Mark started his own practice in 1997. He merged that practice into Midcap & Company in 1998 and became a full partner in 2000. His primary focus is dealing with medium to small, closely-held businesses whose owners are progressive entrepreneurs looking to grow their businesses. Mark not only services the typical compliance work involved with accounting, payroll and tax services but also advises them in areas such as management, business valuation, banking, personal financial and retirement investing, and other areas crucial to their business and personal success. Mark has two sons, Mark David and Matthew Alan and enjoys spending time watching them play sports and golfing with them. Mark serves as Vice President of Manchester Panther Paws Booster Club, Treasurer of Manchester Youth Football, Head Coach of Manchester's B-Team, and is an active member of St. Francis De Sales Church in the Portage Lakes. Mike joined Midcap & Company in January 1999. He is a CPA with over 21 years of experience in industry and public accounting. Carla joined Midcap & Company as our Administrative Assistant in 1988. She is a key team member and is in charge of all of the financial and tax compliance deadlines along with the necessary processing of the required statements and forms. Elizabeth joined our team in 2000 as a recent graduate from Kent State University where she received her bachelor of science degree in Accounting and Business Administration. She worked for the firm until 2004 and then returned to the firm in January of 2009 after gaining experience as a senior auditor for a national accounting firm. She specializes in industrial and pension audits, but also serves as a tax and accounting professional for our clients. She is a member of the Ohio Society of CPA's, the Greater Akron Chamber, Kent State Alumni Association, and various other local business groups. Elizabeth is very active with many facets of the Northeastern Ohio community and currently serves as a board member for two local nonprofit organizations. Jackie joined our team in September 1998 after contributing 17 years as an accountant and tax supervisor for a national corporation. Along with her general accounting and tax skills, Jackie serves as our expert in state and sales tax issues. She attained her Series 7 license in 2001 to help our clients with their financial services needs. She is a member of Loyal Oak Women's Golf League and volunteers at Akron's One of A Kind Pet Rescue. Mary Ann has been with Midcap & Company almost from its beginning. Starting in 1979, Mary Ann has been invaluable to the firm as an accountant and office manager.
